Here's how school or district administrators can set up the system for this feature.

STEP 1: Identify your students

 

Teachers must identify which students will use Reading Assistant in Spanish and set the toggle to bilingual in the Tracking Report.

  1. Locate the column labeled Language.

  2. Use the arrow to open the drop-down menu to select English or Bilingual.

STEP 2: Configure your test type

Test Configurations are done in the Admin tab of Reading Assistant.

  1. Locate the Configuration tile in the Admin tab.

  2. If you are a District Admin you can configure the settings for the entire District or you can pick the school you wish to configure from the drop down (if you are a school admin you’ll only have your school as an option).

  3. Scroll to the bottom of the Configuration settings for your Language Configuration settings.

  4. Click Edit

  5. Select the languages you wish Bilingual students to receive assessments in

  6. Click Next

  7. Choose the way you would like the tests administered. 

    1. Two tests = When the student is finished with the first assessment, the Reading Assistant will log them out, and then the next time they log in, they'll get the second assessment.

    2. One test = Students will receive both assessments in the same session back to back.

  8. Click Confirm

  9. Then Save
