Step-by-Step Instructions
Logging into Your Account
Once you and your students log into your Exploros accounts, navigate to your class and click the "Assign Lesson" button.
Assigning Lessons and Tests
Note that there is an associated lesson test that you will assign for students to complete after each lesson.
Navigating the Lesson Interface
When you enter a lesson, the bottom of the screen displays three icons: Dashboard, Activity, and Pack.
Using the Dashboard
The dashboard displays the class list with their assigned reading groups.
You can modify their assigned passages at any time.
The dashboard shows student progress in real-time and provides an overview of their responses throughout the lesson.
Managing Student Feedback
At the top of the dashboard, you can turn off student feedback for a specific experience if desired.
Utilizing the Pack
The pack contains lesson-specific resources such as differentiated reading passages for students and a rubric for assessing open response questions for teachers.
Exiting and Re-entering Lessons
The arrow at the bottom left of the screen allows teachers and students to exit the lesson at any time.
As long as the lesson’s end date has not expired, students can reenter the lesson at the same place they exited.
Entering the Activity
The activity icon enters the teacher and students into the experience of the Wordly Wise i3000 lesson.
Click the activity icon to enter into the lesson with teachers' directions included for each scene.
Understanding Lesson Scenes
There are 11 scenes in every Level 2 lesson and 12 in every Levels 3 to 12.
Each scene contains a Wordly Wise i3000 activity.
Students move through the scenes at their own pace and in sequential order.
They cannot move to the next scene until they complete the previous activity.
Teachers can move through scenes at any time and in any order to monitor student progress.
