Unlocking the Gate

...

  • Independent work should be assigned after completing either an introductory or reinforcing lesson.

  • Ensure you go over the directions with the students before they start.

  • Unlock the gate for students, allowing them to navigate the scenes and complete activities at their own pace.

Administering the Assessments

...

  • For introductory lessons, administer the "Concept Mastery Fluency Drill":

  • This is a timed, one-minute exercise where students read words aloud, and the teacher marks any misread words.

  • After one minute, the teacher taps the last word read by the student and submits the results, optionally leaving a comment.

  • The correct words read per minute will be displayed at the top of the student's panel.

  • For reinforcing lessons, conduct the "Concept Assessment":

  • Students read words and sentences aloud while the teacher follows along, marking any errors.

    • After completing the assessment, the teacher can add comments, save the results, and edit the student's score if necessary.

Repeating with Remaining Students

...

  • Repeat the assessment process for each student in the class.

  • Reviewing Results:

    • Once all assessments are complete, access and review the results from the "Reports" tab on the home screen.
