Reading Assistant Practice Scoring Screen

How do I use the Practice Scoring Screen?

The Practice Scoring screen provides a student's Practice reading passage along with an audio recording of the student’s reading. For the view option, the passage is scored with words color-coded based on the student's interaction with the words Correct, Incorrect, Not Read, and Flagged.

The Scoring Practice screen allows users to view the passage and listen to the audio recording of the student reading. It also allows users to edit their scores. Once a score is edited, the score on the Progress Report will be updated.

FAQs: You will also see FAQs at the bottom right section of the scoring screen. These FAQs are dynamic and will be determined based on the activity so that some activities may reflect different questions. Clicking the question will yield the response in a box displayed over the current scoring screen. You will be presented with a blinking red arrow icon before viewing that FAQ entry. Once you view that question, the arrow will disappear.
