Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Accessing School-Level Reports:

    • As an iSPIRE administrator, click the 'Reports' icon on your administration home screen.

    • Then, select the 'iSPIRE Progress Reports' icon to open the reporting dashboard.

  2. Navigating the Reporting Interface:

    • To filter and modify the reports, select Select the three dropdown menus at the top of the reports page to filter and modify the reports. These dropdowns allow selection by report type, teacher, and level.

  3. Reviewing Concept Mastery Fluency Drills:

    • The first report type available is the ‘Concept Mastery Fluency Drill.’ This timed, 1-minute drill is administered at the end of every introductory lesson.

    • The report displays data for each teacher, listing each class, the number of students per class, and the class average for correct words per minute for each concept.

    • For more detailed data, select the hyperlinked class name to view individual student data and the assessments administered.

  4. Analyzing Concept Assessments:

    • Select ‘Concept Assessment' from the report dropdown. Optionally, filter by teacher and level, then tap 'Update.’

    • This report reveals mastery levels (80% or higher indicating mastery) in blue and below mastery scores in orange. Detailed class averages show whether the class reached mastery of specific concepts.

    • Select the hyperlinked class name to drill down further into individual student data and test details.

  5. Exploring Pre and Post-Tests Reports:

    • This report compares class averages between each level's beginning (pre-test) and the end (post-test).

    • It details the class's performance on decodable words, sentences, correct words per minute, and comprehension questions.

    • Again, select the hyperlinked class name to dive deeper into specific class and student details.

  6. Assessing Mid-Level Test Reports:

    • The mid-level test assesses student mastery (80% or higher) of each concept up to the middle level.

    • Like other reports, further details can be accessed by selecting the hyperlinked class name next to the class's data.

  7. Viewing the School iSPIRE Experience Summary:

    • Back on the main reports tab, administrators can view an overall summary of the i-SPIRE experience across the school.

    • This comprehensive report includes data on the state, teacher, class, teaching experience, number of students, and percentage of lessons completed.
