This guide outlines the steps for students to set up their iSPIRE accounts using Google, ensuring a smooth start to their learning journey.

Video Guide:

Steps to Sign Up with Google

  1. Navigate to iSPIRE: Students should visit the iSPIRE access page. This is the starting point for setting up their account.

  2. Connect to Teacher: Click on the "Connect to Your Teacher" option, which links the student's account to their teacher's.

  3. Enter Teacher Code: A crucial step in the process is to enter the teacher code, which connects the student's account with the teacher's account. This unique code can be found in the teacher's iSPIRE account settings.

  4. Using Google to Sign In: After inputting the teacher code, students will be prompted to sign up using their Google account. By choosing this option and logging in with their Google details, students will be directed to their iSPIRE dashboard, now linked to their teacher.

  5. Alternative to Google Sign-Up: If a student prefers not to use a Google account, there's an alternative option to sign up with a different email. This requires entering some additional information and creating a password. Upon completing this, the student's iSPIRE account will be active and connected to their teacher.

Obtaining the Teacher Code: The teacher code is essential for linking student accounts to the teacher's iSPIRE account. Make sure this code is correctly entered.

Choosing the Sign-Up Method: The Google sign-up option offers convenience, especially for students already using Google services. However, the alternative email sign-up ensures that all students can access iSPIRE regardless of their email provider.

Account Security: Regardless of the sign-up option chosen, it's important to use a secure password and keep account details confidential.
