Meet the Class Progress Report
With the Class Progress Report, teachers can easily view and compare the Beginning of Year (BOY), Middle of Year (MOY), and End of Year (EOY) scores, along with percentile ranks, for all their students in a single view.
Gone are the days of toggling between multiple screens to track a student's progress. Now, you can instantly observe shifts in assessment scores throughout the year.
How to access the Class Progress Report
Teachers can access the Class Progress Report from the Teacher Dashboard in Reading Assistant by clicking on the Class Progress Report tile.
How to use the Class Progress Report
As students complete assessments during the Beginning of Year (BOY), Middle of Year (MOY), and End of Year (EOY) periods, their scores and corresponding percentile rankings will be displayed. By considering the benchmark scores, a teacher can easily see student progress, growth, or concern. We recommend teachers begin by using the percentile ranks and then ARM scores when considering the change in scores.
To facilitate easy understanding, the scores will be color-coded according to our Red/Yellow/Green (R/Y/G) cut score system:
Red: 24th percentile or below
Yellow: 25th to 74th percentile
Green: 75th percentile or above
In the 'Latest' column, you will find the score from the most recent progress monitoring that the student has completed. If a student hasn’t completed progress monitoring between benchmark assessments, the score will reflect the same as from the benchmark assessment.
Considering the percentile ranks and change in scores can help teachers identify students in need of additional intervention and support and communicate the need for such support. To understand the skill development a student needs, teachers should consider the Skills Diagnostic or Skills Status reports.
