Welcome back to school! This article will guide you in getting returning for the school year using SPIRE STAR or iSPIRE. Now that you are back to school, you will want to follow some basic actions.
Getting Started. If you are working with a new student group in the program, please create a class to explore our resources. To create a class, please refer to the articles below for instructions:Â
Please keep in mind that new students should be given the SPIRE placement test before putting them in student groups. You can give this digitally or in print
Relicensing. If you are returning and want to continue with your groups from last year, you can relicense your classes. To do this, you will need to login, click on the three lines (next to All Classes), and choose your class.
Next to your class name, click on the drop down arrow and choose "Settings"
On this next popup, click on "No License" and choose your program. Then click Save (you may need to refresh your page).
Your licenses will return to your page. You will be able to assign content and view reports from last year.
Campus Students. If you are manually rostered and have students from other teachers, you can add those students to your class without the students needing your class code. This is especially helpful for our SPIRE STAR teachers.Â
Go to the Roster menu with your class dropdown arrow
On this next page, you will see a new tab, called Campus Students. This will allow you to see the other students in your school.Â
Click on the plus button to add the student(s) to your class.
Student Status. On the Class Roster tab, you will see selections for your student's profile. This is mainly for intervention groups within classes. This feature is used by districts to filter for students within specific programs within the reports. Please consult with your district team on how they plan to use this filter.Â
