Tell Me More About Assessment Reporting in Catch Up with Coach

This article provides teachers with a step-by-step guide for using the Assessment Reporting feature in Catch Up with Coach.

From the Teacher dashboard, select Reporting, followed by Assignment Reporting.

Assignment report dropdown option

From the Class Assessment Report page, set your criteria including the assignment, class, students, and proficiency level. There are two ways in which to view a report: data by assessment and data by skill. The Assessment report summary provides an overall class snapshot of how students performed based on the proficiency level previously set. Note that it does not represent actual assessment scores. To view specific score information, select View Report for the applicable assessment. When the Assessment Report opens, an item-by-item breakdown for each student is presented. Selecting the bar graph icon next to the score opens that student's work. When the Review by Item report opens, you can view how the student answered each question on the assessment, note any skipped questions, as well as their time on task. The reporting feature also enables teachers to view data by skill.  Access this option from the Class Assessment Report page, and set your criteria including assignment, class, and students. Then, select the Skills tab. The performance summary by skill is presented. Note that these are universal skills, not state-specific standards. To drill down to the question level, and to view the answer distributions for each of them, select the hyperlinked items for the applicable skill. When the Assessment Item Review report opens, the student answer distributions are presented, along with the assessment itself. Teachers can then scroll through the activity, and select the forward tab to view each item's data.
