Resetting a Teacher's Password as an Admin

This article will show you how to reset a Teacher's password in EPS Connect.

This article does not apply to districts that use single sign-on to log in via Clever, ClassLink, Google, or SAML.

  1. Sign in with your District Admin or School Admin credentials.

 

 

 

  1. Select USERS, USER ROLES and then TEACHERS.

 

 

  1. Select the name of the teacher you want to reset and then select the EDIT button on the User Profile page.

 

 

  1. Select RESET PASSWORD on the Edit User page.

 

Password Requirements:

  • Passwords must be 12 characters long.

  • Uppercase/lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols

  • Cannot contain recognized patterns (ie. Repeat patterns, date patterns, keyboard patterns, etc.)

 

Error Messages:

  • If the password is too short: "Please choose a longer password" is displayed.

  • If the password has been used from the past 5 account passwords: "You used this password recently. Please choose a different one" displays. 

 

  1. Enter your password and select RESET. The new password will be emailed to the teacher.
