EPS Connect Adding and Removing Teachers from Classes
These instructions are for non-rostered districts only.
Creating a New Class for a Teacher
Log into EPS Connect and access the applicable program.
On the Navigation Bar, select USERS > USER ROLES > TEACHERS.
Locate the teacher by using the SEARCH or FILTER options.
Under actions, select the Create class icon.
Enter Class Name, select Subject, Grade (drop-down menu will include grades available at the selected school), and Term. Section Number and Period are optional. Select SAVE.
The SAVE button will not be enabled until all required fields are completed.
You will receive a message that the class has been created successfully. Select OK to close the pop-up.
Adding a Teacher to an Existing Class
Log into EPS Connect and access the applicable program.
On the Navigation Bar, select USERS > ORGANIZATIONS > CLASSES.
Locate the class by using the SEARCH or FILTER options.
Open the Class Detail page by selecting the Class Name or selecting the edit icon in the Actions column.
Select EDIT
Note: If you select the edit icon in the Teacher Listing, you will be brought directly to the Edit page.
Select ADD TEACHER
Check the box next to the teacher(s) to be added. Select ADD TO CLASS.
You may locate the teacher(s) by using the SEARCH or FILTER options.
An Alert will pop up telling you all existing courses and assessments for the class will be assigned to the new teacher(s). Select OK to confirm.
The new teacher(s) will be listed in the Class Detail page. Select SAVE.
You will receive a message that the class has been saved successfully. Select OK to close the pop-up.
Removing a Teacher from a Class
Log into EPS Connect and access the applicable program.
On the Navigation Bar, select USERS > ORGANIZATIONS > CLASSES
Locate the class by using the SEARCH or FILTER options.
Open the Class Detail page by selecting the Class Name or selecting the edit icon in the Actions column.
Select EDIT.
Select the delete icon next to the teacher you want to remove.
Select Save.
You will receive a message that the class has been saved successfully. Select OK to close the pop-up.
