Step-by-Step Instructions
Accessing Reports
Teachers should start by tapping the 'Reports' icon on their class home screen on the iSPIRE platform.
Navigating to Progress Reports
Tap the 'iSPIRE Progress Reports' icon within the reports menu.
Choose from one of the four reports available in the dropdown menu.
Using the Concept Mastery Fluency Drill Report
Select the 'Concept Mastery Fluency Drill' to view data, such as students' correct words per minute for each concept. These assessments are taken during the independent work phase at the end of each introductory lesson.
For more detailed information, click the black triangle next to each entry or the blue hyperlink to review specific assessment details, including which words students struggled with.
Viewing the Concept Assessment Report
Select ‘Concept Assessment' from the dropdown menu, select the desired level, and click 'Update.’
This report displays how students master new skills: blue highlights indicate mastery, orange highlights below mastery scores, and white indicates no assessment completion.
For deeper insights, click the black triangle for specifics on student scores, including the number of assessments taken before mastery was achieved.
Checking Pre- and Post-Test Reports
Select 'Pre- and Post-Test Report' to compare individual student scores from the start to the end of a level.
Scores of 80% or higher in parts of the post-test (decodable words, sentences, correct words per minute, comprehension questions) suggest mastery of the level's concepts.
Reviewing the Mid-Level Test Report
The 'Mid-Level Test Report' shows student scores in percentages for each concept up to the middle of that level. A score of 80% or higher indicates mastery.
Like other reports, detailed information is accessible via hyperlinks.
