 Estimated Mastery:

  •  The Progress Line in the Progress Report is the focal point for each student’s current and predicted progress.

  • This Progress Line is calculated using all available data. Screening data, Benchmark Assessments, bi-weekly Progress Monitors, and Practice and Skills Scaffold sessions will all be used in concert to calculate a student’s current and EOY mastery.

  •  The Progress Line utilizes a sophisticated algorithm leveraging Reading Assistant’s experience with hundreds of thousands of students to estimate the growth trajectory.

  •  Progress Lines will work better for students in the Early Reader Skills Scaffold.

  • Equivalent For Spanish & English

 Percentile Rank

Activity Details Table

Below the progress graph is a table listing all activities the student has completed within the current school year, ordered from most recent to least recent. Use the Score Configuration options in the sidebar to update the metric and scale displayed in the table. Additionally, click on an Activity Type (Assessment or Tutor) to open the Scoring Activity screen to listen to and rescore a student's reading.

Teachers can now view the results of a student's Comprehension Conversation intervention within the Progress Report.

When a student completes an activity that includes a comprehension conversation, an icon will appear next to the story title.

The report shows a line graph tracking ARM scores from September '24 to July '25, with different colored bands indicating performance levels. The student's score appears to have a slight upward trend. Below the graph, there is a table detailing individual reading activities, including the activity type (Tutor), ARM score, story name, story grade (mostly blank), session time, and date.

When clicking on the story title, teachers will see an icon on the line where the comprehension conversation interaction occurred.

report for a reading comprehension assessment. It lists ten statements with student responses and scores. A note at the bottom explains that clicking a specific icon (partially circled) will provide teachers with a detailed report on the comprehension conversation, including the standard, rationale, score, summary, and potentially a recording of the student's response.

When teachers click the icon, they’ll see a report detailing the student's performance on the comprehension conversation. The report includes the targeted standard, an explanation of why the story aligns with that standard, a score, and a summary of the student’s response. Teachers also have the option to listen to a recording of the student's answer.
