Written Steps:
Step 1: Close All Other Tabs
Keeping only Reading Assistant open helps the tool run smoothly without technical disruptions.
Step 2: Allow the Microphone
Click "Allow" when prompted to grant microphone access. If you don't see a prompt, check your browser settings to ensure microphone permissions are enabled.
Step 3: Face Away From Others
Find a quiet space and orient your device away from classmates or any noise sources to improve microphone accuracy.
Step 4: Wait for the Green Microphone
The microphone icon turning green means it's active and ready to record. If it doesn't turn green, refresh the page or re-check your microphone settings.
Step 5: Read to the End
Read clearly, steadily, and loudly enough for the microphone to pick up your voice. Continue until you complete the reading assignment.
